The PrimaLuceLab 2" Hybrid-Drive Focuser. The normal issue of camera slippage during exposures in astro-imaging that is typical with Crayford focusers is avoided with the Hybrid-Drive focuser due to the mechanical precision in which it is built. Under the focuser tube, a rack and pinion is added to manage heavy cameras. A locking screw is also located under the focuser to ensure the camera will not move.

Under the focuser tube, a rack and pinion is added to manage heavy cameras. A locking screw is also located under the focuser to ensure the camera will not move.
The PrimaLuceLab Hybrid-Drive 2" focuser has the connection for 50.8mm and 31.8mm accessories as well as a convenient 1:11 fine focus gear, useful for high magnification.
The focuser has a very long ride (95mm) to allow the use of both photographic instruments (cameras with accessories) and visual (eye and diagonal).
