Losmandy D Style Dovetail Plate Design
For visual and imagers who have an optical tube with an extremely long length and a weight of up to 40 lbs and a mount with a D style dovetail clamp, the PrimaLuceLab Losmandy Plate 750mm PLUS can firmly lock and mount the two together while keeping vibration almost negligible. It also, when used with longer OTAs, provides enough space to mount the ALTO motor so GIOTTO can be automated to take flat illuminated fields.
The high precision mechanics using CNC machinery from a single aluminum block guarantees rigorous stable connection with all components being mounted and is compatible with all other PrimaLuceLab PLUS support and guide rings and clamps.
Ways to Connect
- The dovetail can be placed below support rings and connected via a mount with a D series dovetail clamp
- Installed above support rings to connect other accessories
- Mounted along longer optical tubes to use ALTO and GIOTTO for automated flats
